Pompeii, with its 66 hectares (of which about 50 have been excavated, including suburban areas), is a unique set of civil and private buildings, monuments, sculptures, paintings, and mosaics of such relevance for the history of archeology and antiquity that has been recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The ash and lapilli that buried the city following the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, as narrated in the two famous epistles of Pliny the Younger, have ensured exceptional preservation, allowing us to gain a vivid image of the organization of Roman cities, as well as the daily life of their inhabitants.

Program Overview

  • 1:30 PM Meet the guide at Federico Conference center and transfer from Naples to Pompei by bus
  • 2:30-4:30 PM Guided visit to the Archaeological Park of Pompeii
  • 4:30-5:30 PM Transfer from Pompei to Naples (Federico II Conference center) by bus

Participation Fee

Age 18 and older Age up to 17 years old

The participation fee includes:

  • Bus transfer from/to Naples
  • Guided tour (2 hours) in English, with licensed guides from the Campania region
  • Entrance tickets to Archaeological Park of Pompeii
  • Earphones.
